With over 11 years of experience in the dog training industry, Lucas has dedicated his career to fostering strong bonds between dogs and their owners. His journey began as a kennel technician, where he developed a deep understanding of canine behavior and care. Since then, he has successfully owned and operated two dog training businesses, specializing in training pet, working, and sport dogs. Currently, he competes in PSA (Protection Sports Association) and serves as an active PSA decoy, honing his skills and knowledge in advanced training techniques. Lucas’s passion for canines drives him to continue learning so he can provide the best experience for a wide array of dogs and handlers.

Megan began her dog training career the summer of 2015. After coming home from college, she quickly realized she wanted to peruse a career that she was passionate in. Her best friend at the time was her Alaskan malamute, Roscoe. A local trainer reached out and asked if she wanted to become a dog trainer. That’s when her training journey kicked off. During this time, she shadowed many trainers and attended seminars to expand her knowledge.

Megan has had lots of fun working and learning with her own dogs. She currently has an Alaskan Malamute, Australian Shepherd, Dutch Shepherd, and Belgian Malinois. They continue to teach her as much as she teaches them.

Over the years, Megan has worked hundreds of dogs all shapes and sizes. As her education continued, she began working with more behavioral cases such as reactivity and aggression. The most rewarding part of her career has been watching dogs and owners grow together.
Jessica has spent her career in animal husbandry and training. While attending Boston University and earning a BA in Psychology, she also worked as an Assistant Marine Mammal Trainer at New England Aquarium. As a zookeeper at Brandywine Zoo and later Philadelphia Zoo, she has worked with a wide variety of animals including Pymgy Marmosets, Vampire bats, Aardvarks, Meerkats, Bearded Pigs, Giant Anteaters, Mhorr Gazelles, Addax, and even Philadelphia Zoo’s beloved White Rhinoceros, Tony. Training programs included voluntary blood draws, station training, target training, crate and chute training. After several years at home with her two sons when they were young, she branched out into the field of dog training. In the field of dog training, she has worked with hundreds of dogs and a wide variety of breeds over the course of 10 years. She is certified as a CGC Evaluator and CPDT-KA.
Jack has always felt connected to dogs and has loved being around them since an early age. He grew up with a Wheaton Terrier who was his best friend for 16 years. As a way to cope with the loss of his first dog, he decided to get into the dog industry in order to be around dogs more. He has been training dogs and their owners since 2016 and has developed a lot of knowledge and experience working dogs of all sizes and different breeds. Jack’s expertise ranges from building fundamental obedience skills to addressing complex behavioral modifications. Working on building and creating a better foundation for dogs and creating stronger bonds and relationships with their counterpart owners. The biggest philosophy that we endorse at The Cultured Canine is teaching at both ends of the leash. This belief is tied strongly to his training style as he believes it is not only important for the dog to learn but for the owner to learn even more. In his canine family, Stella, a sweet and loving 5-year-old hound mix, occupies a special place as his cherished pet, embodying the rewards of companionship and relationship. Yoshi, a youthful Dutch Shepherd pup, stands as his working dog, a partner to work through highly advanced obedience and scenarios through the competitive protection sport of PSA. Jack stands to help provide a comprehensive understanding of dogs while showcasing a commitment to enhancing their lives through strong foundation and clear structure. He looks forward to helping each family who entrusts us to work with their beloved pets and help owners and dogs learn how to communicate effectively!
David, from the Cultured Canine, has fully indulged and dedicated his life to dogs over the last year and a half. Wether that be training your average pet dog or working with high drive working dogs, he has fallen in love with working any breed, size or temperament. David’s interest for dogs and the psychology behind the communication is what brought him to the Cultured Canine. He has mentored/shadowed under Lucas Lucier, Megan Foley and Jack Mitchell to continue his learning in the initial stages of joining the team. He has also filled his free time from continuous learning from outside sources. Since then, David has worked with hundreds of dogs hands on, to help give dogs proper structure and implement healthy relationships back home.
